Hildegard of Bingen-Saint and Doctor of the Church

On May 10 2012 Pope Bendict XVI delcared Hildegard of Bingen was to be added to the book of Saints.  On October 7, 2012 she will be delcard a Doctor of the church.  This German Benedictine nun, known forher visions and prophecies, livedin the twelfth century and has become increasingly popular in more recent years.  In addition to being a nun, she was a composer, philosopher, physicist and ecologist.  A multi-talented woman, she was a pioneer in many of these fields during the Middle Ages.  We will take a look at this remarkable woman and her many accomplishments which have broughther to this honored place within the Church.  Suggested donation: $5.00   Register:  1-402-371-3438 or www.norfolk-osb.org
