The Norfolk Ministerial Association will host a special interfaith prayer service on Thursday, April 4 at 7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Norfolk. “An Evening of Community Prayer and Support” is a non-denominational service open to everyone.
In light of the recent flooding that impacted our area, clergy members felt called to provide a way to show solidarity and pray for those impacted by the flooding in Norfolk, Nebraska and the rest of the Midwest. The evening of prayer and music will be an opportunity for members of the community to gather, reflect on the flood’s impact and heal together.
Questions about the service should be directed to Pastor Caleb Lind, president of the Norfolk Ministerial Association and pastor at First Baptist Church, at 913-827-6961
The Norfolk Ministerial Association is comprised of Christian churches and area ministries serving the Norfolk and surrounding areas. Members work together to promote awareness of spiritual matters in the community, foster interfaith cooperation and encourage greater understanding among churches and ministries.
