DESCRIPTION:The Norfolk Downtown Community Garden at 4th and Phillip Avenue is announcing that applications for garden plots will begin on January 15\, 2012. Forms are available at the First United Methodist Church office at 406 West Phillip Ave. or they can be sent (via email only) upon request\, 402-371-2785. Spaces are limited to first come\, first serve.\n\n\n\nGarden plots are available to individuals\, families\, and to groups who may wish to use a garden for educational or therapeutic purposes. You may grow extra food for donation purposes\, but not to sell for profit. Some gardening education activities are being planned for this year as well.\n\n\n\nIf there are businesses\, groups\, or individuals who would like to provide sponsorship to the garden in some way\, please contact the church at 402-371-2785 for more information.
