DESCRIPTION:This is the second year for this event held in Johnny Carson's hometown that also offers a half-marathon relay and kids fun run. The course is on virtually flat\, paved surfaces through city streets and areas surrounding Norfolk. Enjoy scenic views of rural countryside as well as Norfolk's beautiful downtown area in a race that will tickle your funny bone as well as your feet! All participants receive a t-shirt with medals to all half-marathon finishers and age-division winners. $200 and trophy awarded to the top half-marathon male and female runners. Proceeds from the race benefit pediatric needs in northeast Nebraska.
