The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 6:15 p.m. culminating with the lighting of the tree at 6:30 p.m. Prior to the tree lighting\, the public will enjoy a festive holiday program on the streets of Downtown. Groups of carolers will line the streets. Afterwards there will be pictures with Santa\, trolley rides with Santa's elves\, and marshmallow toasting with KEXL in the parking lot on Third and Norfolk Ave. The Yuletide Shoppes at River Point will stay open until 8:00 p.m. Many businesses will have holiday treats and hot drinks for shoppers.
