DESCRIPTION:Dear Businesses and Educators\,\n\n	 \n\n	Please join us on September 22 at 4pm at the Lifelong Learning Center on the Northeast Community college campus for the official kickoff of the ABC...Adopt a classroom\, Build a Community program! \n\n	 \n\n	We will have local leaders including Speaker of the House Mike Flood\, Dr. Bill Path\, NECC President\, Dennis Houston\, Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce\, and Steve Morton\, Norfolk Public Schools join us for this event and share their thoughts on the importance of our business community supporting the local school systems.\n\n	 \n\n	After hearing from these speakers\, you will meet with your partner to map out the school year\, exchange contact information\, schedule times for the business partner to be in the classroom\, and get your partnership started out strong!\n\n	 \n\n	If you have participated in a program similar to this in the past\, we would love to be able to share your experiences with other partners. We are looking for information on any activities\, projects\, field trips\, or any other details that participants would benefit from! Feel free to email this and any questions you have to Kendra Barnes at focusedbarnes@yahoo.com. \n\n	 \n\n	We hope everyone will be able to attend\, but we understand that schedules can be hectic!
